It is understood that Nissan is recalling this January 2014 - September 2017 in the domestic factory production and sales of 1.16 million vehicles. This recall will cost Nissan 25 billion yen (about 147 million), which has become a major challenge since Nishikawa's inauguration.

In February this year, Nissan Motor Corporation announced that Nishikawa wide people since April 1, 2017 instead of Carlos Ghosn (Carlos Ghosn) as Nissan Motor CEO. On 2 October, Nishikawa people said that he would personally investigate the matter and then decide that he should be held responsible for the "shocking" fault. However, there are still some unauthorized inspectors who work separately under the supervision of certified inspectors and stamp the final inspection documents. In addition, Nissan explained that cars exported from Japan did not participate in the recall, because the inspection certificate is in Japan under the unified requirements of the Ministry of Commerce.

After the initial exposure, the certified inspectors continued to inspect about 3800 vehicles at Nissan Shonan factory. Nissan spokesman said that from October 11 onwards, the factory produced the car has been suspended from the assembly line, then resumed on October 16.
