Application of nanotechnology South Korea to develop electric vehicle industry

South Korea's Ministry of Information and Communications said on Monday that it would support the local electric car industry by applying nanotechnology and try to find new sources of economic growth in a sustained recession.
South Korea's Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Information and Communications and the future planning department said that according to the plan, the use of nanotechnology in 2025 will be able to produce a charge of 500 km electric vehicles.


"The development of nanotechnology will help drive the competitiveness of the local manufacturing industry while generating a new economic growth engine," the minister added, adding that the development of nanotechnology will also contribute to building a sustainable environment-friendly Type society.
The statement is more noteworthy is that the Korean domestic car manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company is currently planning to start this year, sales of LONIQ electric car, which models a single charge can run about 180 km. The latest blueprint released by the government on Monday also includes a number of initiatives to apply nanotechnology to local industry by 2025.
The government said it would invest about 560 billion won (about $ 490 million) to promote the use of nanotechnology in industry, not just in the automotive sector, but also for the development of semiconductors and new materials.
