The report said that the Canadian non-water renewable energy power generation installed capacity in the past 10 years, rapid growth, especially wind and solar energy increased by 20 times and 125 times. However, in 2015, the combined capacity of wind, solar and biomass energy accounts for only 11% of Canada's total installed capacity. In 2005, this figure was only 2%.
