Is the standard connection of the circuit breaker a left zero right fire?

The circuit breaker can protect the line at home. Once the line in the home fails, the circuit breaker can automatically trip, thereby reducing the accident loss. It can be said that the circuit breaker is an essential electrical appliance at home, but how should the circuit breaker be connected?
To know how to connect the circuit breaker, first understand the name or type of circuit breaker. Do you often hear 1P, 2P or 1P+N in life, of course, 3P, 4P, what does it mean? In fact, the meaning of the number in front of P is the number of lines that the circuit breaker can control. For example, 1P can only control the continuity of one line. When the line is short-circuited, the circuit breaker automatically trips and disconnects the line. Disconnect a line). 2P can control the on/off of two wires, or assume that the circuit breaker can automatically trip when the line is short-circuited, but 2P can disconnect two lines at the same time, and the zero-line fire line can be disconnected.

By analogy, 3P means that it can control the on/off of three lines, which can be generally used on a 380V three-phase motor. There may be friends who will ask what is the difference between 2P and 1P+N, N generally means zero line, and 1P can only control the on and off of one line, so when short circuited, the zero line of 2P can be disconnected, but 1P +N cannot be disconnected.

How should the circuit breaker be connected? You can let the circuit breaker face yourself. Let's take the 2P circuit breaker as an example. Just like the picture below, the two terminals on the top generally indicate the incoming end, and the lower two posts indicate the end. Since this is A 2P circuit breaker, so it can control the on and off of two lines. The uppercase letter N on one side of the terminal indicates that the terminal is connected to the zero line, and the other is the connection line.

In fact, the power of the circuit breaker as mentioned above is generally very large (for the power used by household electricity), in order to be safe, there will be several 1P circuit breakers behind the line. This type of circuit breaker generally has a relatively small power. In order to look more intuitive, I found a picture on the Internet. For the 1P circuit breaker, it is enough to connect a fire line from the 2P circuit breaker, just like the three circuit breakers on the right side in the figure below. 2P can continue to connect a hot wire to a zero line. If there is no N symbol on the circuit breaker, it is generally connected according to the left fire right zero. This is the opposite of the socket. The standard connection on the socket is left zero right. fire.
